ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Certificate program in Virtual Teaching (MOOC version) is a course that you can pursue at your own time and pace and become confident online teachers.

This immersive, online program will consist of a series of four modules covered over four weeks. This intensive program will prepare participants to leverage relevant research and voices from master teachers and experts in the field to design and facilitate online learning experiences using several Edtech tools and the XLS planning framework.

The participants can expect 2-3 hours of tasks each week. This will include time required to go through the video tutorials, read the texts and handouts, research & explore Ed tech tools; design and create lessons, self-assess your skills and interact with a variety of online tools for collaboration. Our aim is to share research-based strategies that teachers may adopt effectively and quickly. It will also provide mentoring and support from the facilitators and master teachers through continuous engagement on the discussion forums.

The culmination of the programme will be based on weightage given to the video tutorials, readings and assignments. On successful completion each participant will receive a Certification of course completion in Virtual Teaching.
